Northeast

A diverse mix of some of the city’s most historically affluent and working-class neighborhoods, Northeast Portland is located across the Willamette River from Northwest, between N Williams Avenue, E Burnside Street and the Columbia River. Years of gentrification and urban renewal dollars have revitalized the Alberta Arts District, the Hollywood District and the Lloyd District, which are now filled with locally-owned shops, galleries, cafés and eateries. In the Rose Quarter, one of city’s expo and sporting hubs, are the Portland Convention Center, Moda Center and the Memorial Coliseum.
